Data Use

A concise map of what data SkippingFit needs and why.

Camera & local recognition

Camera input is used for pose recognition and counting. Routine recognition stays on device and does not upload raw camera video.

Motion sensors

AirPods and Apple Watch motion data can be used as optional training inputs.

Apple Health

With permission, SkippingFit saves jump-rope workouts to Apple Health and uses Apple Watch active energy to refine calorie records. We do not collect or record heart rate. You can manage permissions in system settings. Health data stays on your devices and in Apple Health, is excluded from the app’s iCloud sync, and is not sent to our servers or advertisers or used for advertising.

Local records

Workout summaries, history, settings, and widget snapshots are stored locally first.

iCloud and account identity

Workouts and achievements stay local by default. Pro users can sync them incrementally to their private iCloud database; SkippingFit servers do not receive those records. Accounts are used only for public identity and collaboration.

Game Center and friend challenges

Leaderboard scores go to Apple Game Center, not SkippingFit servers. Your Game Center nickname, avatar, score, and rank may be displayed under Apple’s privacy rules. Friend challenges send SkippingFit only the score, nickname, result, rhythm timing, and limited information needed to keep the service secure and fair.
